I selected this artifact of digital images I shot for my portfolio to demonstrate:
- My skill with the Nikon Coolpix 5900 digital camera
- My creative and artistic abilities in creating unique images for websites
- My skill in Photoshop at removing unwanted time stamps, the same way I could remove blemishes to my images if they had any.
- How placement, structure, and balance in the image control made them more appealing and eye-catching.
- Knowledge of how to use the DVD menu program included with Video Vegas.
I know that I am a creative problem solver and found that I enjoy the creative process in coming up with unique design ideas and concepts. Moving from idea to concept can sometimes be a difficult struggle, but a worthwhile endeavor, not just for digital images but also when designing and finding a unique way to present a set of web pages or a a video presentation.
A web designer must also know his or her audience when creating web pages, and through the creative process, should try to develop a set of templates for the website that intrigue the eye and mind in order to make an impression upon the viewer, saying “I’m a cool website, book mark me and come back often."
